Maurice Maeterlinck, who received on November 9, 1911, the Nobel Prize in Literature from the Swedish Academy, was not only a master of literature, but also a recipient of a good kitchen, where he was able to appreciate good food and beverages.
Our chef was inspired by his favorite dishes which the cook from his grandmother were prepared.
The cook of Maeterlinck’s grandmother called Vitalie. She could neither read nor write, but saved the most complicated recipes in her memory.

At that time there was not much thought of diet as today, but the dishes were filled with delicious flavors of all types of fresh produce.
